Get started with HL Plugins

Two steps to unlock every plugin in the library. You'll be up and running in under five minutes.

Request access

Fill out the short form below and we'll email you the two URLs you need — one for the plugin CSS file, one for the JavaScript file.

Access is free during the initial rollout. Your information helps us understand who's using the plugins and notify you when new ones are added.

Check your inbox — the URLs will arrive within a few minutes. Didn't get it? Check your spam folder, then email justin@themelogic.com.

Add the URLs to your HL site

Once you have the URLs, adding them to your HL site takes about thirty seconds.

Navigate to: In the Higher Logic admin portal, go to Pages → Design → Advanced Settings.

Then:

  1. Check the box for Enable External CSS and paste the plugin CSS URL into the External CSS URLs field.
  2. Check the box for Enable External Javascript and paste the plugin JavaScript URL into the External Javascript URLs field.
  3. Save your changes.

Pages → Design → Advanced Settings in the HL admin portal

Each URL should be on its own line. If you're adding other external CSS or JavaScript files, paste the plugin URLs on new lines — don't replace what's already there.

That's it. You're ready to use any plugin.

The plugin library is now loaded on every page of your HL site. Each plugin stays dormant until you activate it by applying a specific CSS class or text format to a content block.

The URLs you receive point to a specific, stable version of the plugin library. When new plugins or updates are available, we'll email you.
